Privacy built for a reader-first product.
This page explains the information ATN receives when you read, subscribe, follow topics or contact the newsroom.
Information ATN receives
ATN may receive the email address you submit for ATN Morning, contact details you submit through inquiry forms, and limited first-party usage information such as page path, referral source, session activity and follow preferences.
How ATN uses it
ATN uses this information to deliver requested newsletters, respond to inquiries, remember reader preferences, measure whether the product is useful and improve reporting, navigation and professional intelligence features.
Storage and service providers
ATN uses infrastructure, database, email-delivery and hosting providers to operate the service. Those providers may process information on ATN's behalf only as required to provide those services.
What ATN does not do
ATN does not sell personal information. ATN does not use reader data to alter editorial conclusions or hide material corrections.
Optional ATN accounts
If you choose account sign-in, ATN uses Supabase Auth to verify your email and maintain a session using first-party HttpOnly cookies. Account-backed follows are stored under your authenticated user ID and are not visible to other accounts. Device-only follows remain in your browser until you decide to import them.
Signing out clears ATN's account session cookies but does not delete the account or previously synchronized follows. For account or personal-data deletion requests, contact ATN through its published contact page.
Browser storage
ATN uses first-party browser storage for reading preferences, follow state, basic return-visit measurement and anonymous session identifiers. Clearing site data in your browser resets those local preferences.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from ATN Morning using the unsubscribe mechanism included in email. You can also clear browser storage or contact ATN regarding personal information submitted through the site.
Updates
ATN may update this policy as the product, legal requirements or service providers change. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
